From our flagship in Sippy Downs, Sushi Ari has been hand-rolling sushi, slicing sashimi and building warm Japanese bowls for the Sunshine Coast since 2018 — now across 13 Sushi Ari and Ari-Cha locations.
Our story
One restaurant in 2018, a Coast-wide brand today
Sushi Ari was founded by Kumyoung Choi, who opened the first Sushi Ari in Sippy Downs in 2018. It has since grown into 11 Sushi Ari restaurants and two Ari-Cha tea houses across the Sunshine Coast, many of them independently operated branches.

Handcrafted, honest, and made to order
Every roll, bowl and platter is prepared fresh in-house using Tasmanian RSPCA-assured salmon, local chicken and produce from local growers.
Sushi rolls
Hand-rolled through the day — crunch, sauce-topped, plain, mini and rice paper.
Bowls
Rice, teriyaki and mild Japanese curry bowls, plus salads and poke.
Sashimi & specials
Sliced to order, with tataki, carpaccio and our mixed sashimi plate.
